The A1 Financial Solutions team has more than 80 years' experience in financial services.
Fergus Macpherson
Fergus spent 14 years in financial services, including Prudential and Royal Bank of Scotland, before joining A1 as a founding partner alongside Paul and Alistair. His specialisms include mortgages, pensions, protection and financial planning. "Our door is always open," Fergus says. "We genuinely all enjoy our work and we like helping people."

Paul Waldron
Paul has 18 years' experience in financial services, including Royal London Insurance, Standard Life and Scottish Amicable. His specialisms include mortgages, life assurance and protection. "We're easy-going, friendly and approachable," Paul says. "We don't pressure anybody to take anything out with us or do anything with us. Our clients come first."

Alistair Imrie
Alistair has worked in financial services for 22 years, including Lloyds TSB and Scottish Amicable, and was a key catalyst in bringing the A1 team together. His core expertise is in investments, pension planning and Inheritance Tax planning. Alistair explains: "To date we've not really had to advertise for business. It's about building long-term relationships with clients who come back to us and refer other clients to us."

Joe O'Donnell Joe ran his own advisory business for 20 years after working at Standard Life, Scottish Amicable and Sedgwick. He also specialises in investments, pension planning and Inheritance Tax planning. "I think we've got quite a personable approach," Joe suggests. "Like Alistair, I tend to get a lot of referrals from people I know and who need advice, rather than through advertising."

Kenny Will
Kenny has been in financial services for nine years, and was previously area sales manager for the Skipton Building Society in its home town of Skipton, Yorkshire. He specialises in providing mortgage and related insurance advice. Kenny says: "I think people like our no-jargon approach. We talk in plain English and make sure people have a good understanding of their different options."
